This page contains all the information on tournaments at this year's convention.
Tournaments will mainly be located in the Lampeter. There will be full slate of
Tournaments running from the traditional ancient, medieval and renaissance to WW2.
Tournament Coordinator: If you have any general questions about
tournaments, who to contact, or are thinking about running something, the POC
for all tournaments is the Events Manager, Duncan Adams –
events@historicon.org.
IMPORTANT: Space allotted for tournaments will fill up fast. Therefore,
if you intend to run a tournament then contact the Events Manager ASAP, or for
any questions, details or special requirements.

Check back in mid-May 2007 for complete details on the individual tournaments at
HISTORICON.
Join the largest, most diverse tournament program in North America as more than
300 gamers participate in over 700 games during the entire four days of the
convention.
The North American Society of Ancient and Medieval Wargamers will host their
annual National Invitational Championship Tournaments in DBA, DBM and Warrior
while also offering a wide range of open and thematic events in those games as
well as Armati and Ancient/Medieval Warfare. The North East Wargaming Society
(NEWS) will run both a Doubles and Singles Warhammer Ancients Battles (WAB)
tournament as well as a Singles pike and shot event. Speaking of pike and shot,
the Renaissance Wargaming Society (RWS) will have multiple DBR tournaments in
15mm and 25mm. At least one evening, a Wargods tournament will be held in the
Flea Market area. Finally, the fastest growing tournament of recent years,
Flames of War (FOW), promises to be the largest WW2 tournament to date.

This year’s tournament will be held on Friday July 27st starting at 10 am
with three rounds lasting 2.5 hours each. Players must sign up in advance.

background NLT 4 July 2007; failure to comply with either requirement will
result in a forfeiture of your entry and the substitution of an alternate

“The Advil 600” Flames of War Speed Tournament:
Sat. 9 AM. Hosted by Joe Moore and Eric Lauterbach. For Mid-War Period 15mm
armies; players are responsible for bringing their own 600-point Mid-War army.
List will be drawn up using the 600-point guidelines published in Ver.2.0
rulebook. All rules contained in basic FoW rulebook 2.0, and supplemental
intelligence books published before 30 June 2007, as well as Lessons from

Wargods:
Come out and play in the Wargods of Aegyptus HMGS East Campaign! Details as follows.

Each player can bring a 1200-point warband containing a harbinger with Ka 1
and following all other rules for warband construction; Warbands will be
allowed to develop throughout HMGS East conventions

There will be three Rounds on 5x8 tables starting Saturday at 8 pm
