CONVENTION PRE-REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED!

(as of Midnight July 14th, 2007)

Onsite registration opens Wed. July 25th, 8-9 PM
at the Lancaster Host Resort & Conference Center.

The following links are to information for some very important items, and to assist you in pre-registering for the convention.

Event Registration

Events described under the Events (PEL) link are only the only ones selectable at pre-registration time; there will still be more onsite in the convention program. Many events also have sponsors who have donated merchandise or credit for prizes. Most important, is that with your convention admission all events (except tournaments) are…FREE!

Pre-registrants may register for one (1) primary and one (1) alternate event in case your first choice is unavailable per day. At the convention, all attendees may register for one (1) event each day (that means if you pre-registered for events you get one additional event per day). On-site registration is conducted at the Event Registration Desk, located in the foyer outside the Distlefink Ballroom. Additionally, you can enter other events just by arriving at the event location before the start time and asking the GM if there are any openings. You may not register for seminars and painting events as they are a first-come-first-seated basis!

Important: The PEL will not be updated with more events (only corrections will be posted, i.e., canceled or ones moved to different days/times); this is the only list of events that will be available until the convention.

HMGS Scruby Award Dinner & Ceremony

Throughout the development of Historical Miniature gaming there have been a small number of critical contributions that served to make the hobby the dynamic and fascinating activity that is presently enjoyed by so many people around the world today. The late Jack Scruby was the first to make such a critical contribution. The HMGS Scruby Award Dinner & Ceremony (Sat. 7 PM) is a special event for presented by the Legion of Honor (LoH), to award one person that has been judged to demonstrate the same selfless level of contribution to the hobby, as did Jack Scruby, as well as induct two new members into the LoH. Small $5 fee to attend ceremony; buffet dinner is optional and payable at door (dinner is after Sat. 7 PM with ceremony thereafter; see onsite program for full details). This year the Scruby Award will be presented to Scott Bowden; click on the following link for Mr. Bowden's bio and other details: http://www.hmgs.org/scruby.htm
